Pullets available from this raise will be ready for pickup beginning July 13. All birds must be picked up within 7 days of availability, no later than July 19. Pickups are by appointment only to ensure a smooth experience for both our customers and our flock. We encourage you to schedule your pickup as soon as possible, as appointment times are limited.

No. For biosecurity and animal-health reasons, once a bird leaves our farm, it cannot return.

Yes. Our flocks are vaccinated against the most common poultry diseases, including Marek’s Disease, and are raised on a medicated feed for Coccidiosis to ensure they are healthy and ready for your coop. No. We do not ship live birds. All sales are farm pick-up only in Maryland.

We recommend a minimum of 3–4 hens. Chickens are social animals and do best in small flocks.

Most breeds begin laying around 18–22 weeks of age, depending on season and environment.
