The Frizzle Easter Egger puts two backyard favorites in one bird. She has the curly, ruffled feathers of a frizzle and the colorful eggs of an Easter Egger. Her feathers curl outward for a soft, tousled look, and many have fluffy cheek muffs and beards too. She’s friendly, easygoing, and great with kids. She lays about 200–250 medium-to-large eggs a year in shades of blue or green, so your egg basket gets a pop of color. Her curled feathers don’t shed rain or hold heat as well as smooth ones, so she does best with a dry, draft-free coop in wet or cold weather.
