Cream Legbars are prolific layers of blue eggs, usually starting to lay at around 5–6 months of age and laying 150–200 eggs per year. Hens often take a break from laying eggs in the winter. Cream Legbar eggs are also more spherical than most chicken eggs, making them look shorter and smaller. Cream Legbars have cream and gray barring, with the barring most noticeable on the tail and breast. Females may also have salmon-colored necks and breasts. Their eyes are cream or white, their earlobes are red, and their legs are yellow. Their beaks are yellow to horn-colored and slightly curved downward.
